The connections and partnerships across Jefferson County Schools help make our district a special place to learn and grow.

Recently, Jefferson County High School Service Learning students lent a hand at Jefferson Elementary School, helping teachers and staff prepare classrooms and offices for the start of the 2026-2027 school year. Their efforts supported back-to-school preparations and helped ensure learning spaces were ready to welcome students.

As the excitement for the first day continues to build, Jefferson Elementary teachers and staff are putting the finishing touches on classrooms and offices as they prepare to welcome Little Elks back for a new year of learning.

The project also highlighted the strong sense of community that exists across Jefferson County Schools. By volunteering their time and energy, JCHS Service Learning students demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to serving others.

Jefferson County Schools is grateful to these students for living out The Patriot Way through service, collaboration, and community support. Their willingness to help showcases the positive impact students can make both within their schools and throughout the district.
