DES student places 2nd in District-Wide Spelling Bee.

MHES students share information about some of the activities that students participate in during Kindness week. A few of the activities include dressing up, making posters and cards, collecting money to help a school in Tijuana, Mexico. The Great Kindness Challenge is sponsored by Kids for Peace. School Counselor, Debbi Finchum, is the organizer of Kindness Week. MHES Principal, Sandra Austin says, "We like to focus on being kind rather than not bullying."
