11:10 AM Update: The search at Maury Middle School is complete. The soft lock down has been lifted. Students and Staff are safely resuming regular schedule. We are appreciative of students reporting suspicion and prompt response from law enforcement with K9 Units. 

10:20 AM Announcement: : A student report of a possible gun at Maury Middle School was investigated by school administration and did not result in location of any weapon. Out of an abundance of caution, law enforcement with K-9 units will search the building to ensure that the building is safe. The school will be in a Soft Lock Down for the duration of the search.
