It’s big smiles and thumbs up to learning, doing, and growing in Ms. Corbett’s PreK class at Piedmont Elementary School. While the “big kids” are engaged in TCAP testing and state benchmark testing, our PreK students are engaged in learning about safety , developing listening and fine motor skills, developing comprehension skills and vocabulary, learning to count to 100, learning letters names and sounds, and generally building those strong foundations as they prepare for kindergarten next year! There is no doubt that Ms. Corbett’s students have good reasons for big smiles and thumbs up, because it’s great to be a Piedmont Panther cub!
